Charity Work
This year Arden Forest Veterinary Group has chosen to support the BVA Animal Welfare foundation. This charity works to educate, research and promote good animal welfare for all animals close to our own hearts. This includes all of your pets, garden birds, farm animals and horses.
Recent work has lead to the banning of wild bird importation, guidance in how to keep your pets happy (relevant to the recent introduction of the new animal welfare act), correct dosing regimes for small pets (guinea pigs, hamsters etc) to encourage proper pain medication in these species when ill and injured. They have also been a key group in education about the unnecessary docking of some dog’s tails.
All money collected by Arden Forest Veterinary Group from collection boxes, charity sports events and other money raising activities will be donated to this charity. Please help us support the welfare of your pets and wildlife.
